  • Wrestling (JULY 10 - 14) (9 AM - 3 PM)

    The Spartan Wrestling Camp is open to those who are in grades two through eight for the upcoming school year.  Wrestlers will be separated according to ability.  There will be a beginners (basics) group and a more advanced group.  Our goal will be to teach all wrestlers basic wrestling skills and expose the more experienced wrestlers to higher level techniques.  Instruction will be in all areas of wrestling with emphasis on takedowns and takedown counters.  Escapes, reversals, pinning combinations, and leg wrestling will also be covered.

    Cost: $205.00 which includes a $75 non-refundable deposit that will be applied to tuition.

  • Brian Willis - Camp Director

    Coach Willis began his coaching career at Saint Mark’s during the 2015-2016 season. Prior to becoming the head wrestling coach at Saint Marks, Coach Willis has had experience coaching several youth programs including the St. Peter's CYO team. As a student athlete, Coach Willis was a member of the Saint Mark’s varsity wrestling team from 2000-2004, and was a member of the 2002 State Championship Team. While wrestling for Saint Mark’s, Coach Willis was a 4 time independent conference champion and a three year place winner at the individual state tournament. This includes his 3rd place finish his sophomore year, and state championship titles his junior and senior years. Other notable accomplishments of Coach Willis include him being a 3 time High School All-American at the Freestyle and Greco Roman National tournament held in Fargo, ND. Coach Willis continued his wrestling career at Bloomsburg University, where he was a member of the wrestling team for three years. While in college, he earned All-American honors twice at the Freestyle and Greco Roman FILA Junior Nationals held in Las Vegas, NV. Coach's overall goal is to teach solid fundamentals and sound technique, and to instill a next level work ethic in order to excel in the sport.
